Hello! I wanted to take a moment to first of all thank each and every current and future client of the Healing Touch Wellness Center for your support of Guardian Angel and for your interest in finding your innermost beautiful YOU by seeking services at our Spalon.

However, due to the goal we have set for ourselves in continuing to develop the charitable children’s programs we house via Guardian Angel, we have had to re-direct the focus of the Healing Touch Wellness Center and gear it to become more of a research facility than just a beauty Spalon.

We will begin to move toward a more medical approach to our facility and services. By restructuring to a medical model, we are able to do research and afford our clients more clinical services as oppose to just beauty services. This means that at this time, beauty services will not be rendered at the Spalon. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you if you have made an appointment. I understand and appreciate that your time is very valuable.

Again, with the understanding that beauty begins from the inside, we know that when you do not feel your best emotionally and mentally, that inner beauty you possess cannot shine thru. An example of some of the issues we will research, are the effects of Acne amongst teenagers. We know that Acne not only causes the obvious dermatological damage, but there is evident damage that occurs to that teen’s self-esteem and self-worth.

 These are some of the issues we will be addressing within in the new modus operandum of The Healing Touch. All research will enable us to branch out and add more assistance where needed.

I recently had the honor of being appointed to the Iowa Board of Education. It was a very humbling experience for me, and one that I accepted with a warm heart-felt gratitude. After so many years of working diligently with children and families, somehow I just go about not really realizing how strong of a bond is formed with the people you help and how much they actually help in return.

My life has been an amazing journey and this new appointment to the Board of Education means that I can continue to provide my services to the community and be even closer to the heart of the matter – our children and the shaping of their future via open education.
